Egyptian Arab Land Bank (EALB) was established in 1880 in Cairo, the Arab Republic of Egypt, as a joint-stock company under the name of the Egyptian Land Bank, according to a decree issued by the Khedive Tawfiq, and then it was licensed in 1954 and changed its name to the Arab Land Bank In 1946, it was changed to the Arab Land Company, according to an Egyptian royal decree, so that the name of the Egyptian Land Bank was approved in 1999 by the Egyptian Cabinet.
